How to become a driver

Apply in the Skoopar Driver app
Create your account and add your personal details, driver's license, vehicle, registration, and insurance.

Authorize your checks and set up tax & payouts
Consent to identity, background, and driving-record checks, provide your Form W-9 details, and connect a payout account.

We review your application
Skoopar verifies your documents and checks. You'll be notified as soon as you're approved.

Complete a short tutorial, then start driving
Access to pickups in the Driver app is unlocked only after approval and onboarding.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Car, SUV, van, or truck with current registration
- Proof of auto insurance
- Smartphone to run the Skoopar Driver app
- Consent to a background and driving-record check
Skoopar drivers work as independent contractors.
Become a Driver
Your application — including your documents — is completed in the Skoopar Driver app. You'll get access to pickups once your application has been reviewed and approved.
The Driver app button opens the application on a phone where the Skoopar Driver app is installed. Need the app or have questions? Ask about driving.
